Lubanzi ‘Midnight Bob’ Cab Franc

$30 | Bottle

2025 Vintage

An expression of Cabernet Franc from nearly forgotten vineyards rooted in granite and facing South toward the sea in the cooler maritime climate of the Cape South Coast. Exposed to the raw South-Easter, these sites shape a fruitier, fresher style than traditional examples. Dryland farmed and handled with light extraction to preserve clarity and freshness. Fermented with whole bunches and matured for six months in old French oak, the wine is honest, expressive and made to be enjoyed young.

The label, created by artist Astrid Blumer, echoes the feeling of bobbing around in the ocean under the moonlight.

Only 300 cases made.
